insure each student has the same things and that they are included.

When the students are working in a group make sure the student has a job and not left out.
Each student have a chance to do a task, even if they are going to make a larger mess. Some times the tasks may need to be modified and sometimes there may need to be extra assistance but each student deserves a chance to try a task.
Each student has the same expectations, unless there is a valid reason for an exemption but when it comes to exemptions we need to teach tolerance and understanding sometimes to others.
If the student is unable to reach things high, as an assistant we would find ways to make sure all things are at a level were the student can reach.
Yes, even with being hired to help one child sometimes we need to let the student do tasks independently at their level. We should be trying to work ourselves out of a job meaning, we should be learning to back away as the student needs and learning to let them struggle a little but not to a point of frustration.
The aims should be to have every student able to participate throughout the day in the tasks even if they need small adaptations/modifications to the task.
no student should just be an observer we need to find the key for that student to learn the best they can within every environment.
Each student is asked questions and answers questions even if there needs to be a translation for others. Sometimes the answer maybe in picture form or in sign language or a computer may take it for them, there is many options to have a student communicate.
The BIGGEST job we have is for some of these students is to help make sure everyone has a playmate and a friend, we all need to feel part of the class and a part of the school and that there is a need and a want for that student.
